Almost fully grown!

Our young Ram "Honu" is now 8 months old and is looking fantastic. He's well put together with good solid legs and feet and good size. We're pleased with how this young fellow is turning out.

Why Dorpers?

Dorpers were bred to adapt and flourish under less than ideal circumstances and can thrive in areas where other breeds can barely exist. Dorpers are great mothers, they typically birth easily and the lambs are vigorous and strong. They are fast growing and mature early. Twin rates can be high. An adaptable breed and strong non-selective grazer the Dorper can advantageously be incorporated into a well planned range management system. The Dorper is an easy care breed which requires a minimum of labor. It's skin covering which is a mixture of hair and wool, will shed naturally to keep it tidy.
